On Thursday, April 20, our K-4th grade students will be treated to a special Oregon Zoo wildlife assembly from 9-9:45 a.m. This interactive assembly ties in with our 3rd grade curriculum and showcases a dynamic selection of exotic and native birds, mammals and reptiles. Students will get an up close look at the animals, while learning about their behavioral, biological and adaptive traits. They’ll also discover some of the amazing ways that animals survive and thrive in their wild habitats around the globe. If you would like your student to sit out the assembly, please contact their teacher.
