The sun was shining for our Friday relays and 7th/8th grade Tug of War. We saw lots of smiles as the kids competed in the sack races, ball toss and three legged races against their classmates. Friday evening, our 6th-8th graders danced to DJ tunes with a “Glow in the Dark” theme. Our Fun Run had many kids and families participating followed by the 7th and 8th grade marching band, Boy Scouts and all of our classes carrying the banners they so carefully made! Thanks to our amazing teachers for coming to help the classes line up and march in the parade! The weather was perfect for the 267 Riverdale athletes participating!

KUDOS to Jennifer Wilcoxon and her team on an amazing Field Day!  Thank you for all of your hard work on this fantastic community event!!   Every hand makes such a difference. Thank you to all of our 150 parent volunteers for running 134 events and helping make this year’s Field Day a great day for the athletes!  The sixth graders and their parents really pulled through on the clean-up crew and the field was completely clean with everything put away by 1:30 PM. Also, many thanks to Dove Lewis for bringing Lilah and Zephyr, the Therapy Dogs that the children have been reading to. Thanks also to Brian Black for capturing the athletes in action and for taking amazing pictures of our Field Day events! Check them out by clicking the links below!
