The PTC is proud to announce that it will be hosting a virtual speaker series this school year, focusing on content to help our families navigate distance-learning and the coronavirus pandemic.  Our first speaker event will be Thursday, October 22, 2020, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

We will be joined by Nichole Sage, Psy.D., and Michael Schwartz, Ph.D, from the Children’s Program, who will address “Understanding and Supporting Childhood Anxiety During the COVID-19 Pandemic.”  This presentation will be focused on helping parents gain a greater understanding of childhood anxiety and how symptoms of anxiety may have changed or increased as a result of the pandemic. It also aims to provide parents with actionable ideas and strategies to support child anxiety during times of distress, and will offer an opportunity for questions and answers at the end.

To attend this free, virtual presentation, please email Alexia Bounds at; a conference link will be provided to attendees in advance of the presentation.
