June 4 – Field Day 9:30 AM–1:00 PM


Riverdale’s annual Field Day event is a long-running community tradition. From the parade to all of the field events, there is something for everyone. All Riverdale students (K to 8th) are encouraged to participate. Dunthorpe residents at other schools and out-of-district siblings are also welcome.

Grab your Gunny Sacks because Field Day is Back – plus now it’s so big it is a FEST! Games, Music, Cake walk, and a good old fashioned finish to an in person year at school.

  • 9:30am Kick Off Parade in front of the school with the route ending at the games
  • 9:50-12:10 GAMES!!! Four Sections of Games will be going on in 25 minute increments.

Games for the kids include: Obstacle Course, Hula Hooping, Basketball ShootOut, Scooter races… Something for everyone. EVEN YOU PARENTS! Volunteer Opportunities Abound!

CAKE WALK – yes, it’s the Carnival favorite you all know and love. Donate cakes, buy tickets, and win that cake back! (Please drop cakes off at pick up June 3rd)

Food Trucks To Keep you Going as Well:

  • Coffee cart hosted by Kristen Kohnstamm and Laura Martin with Cascade Sotheby’s
  • Kona Ice Shave Ice Truck
  • Up N’ Smoke BBQ Food truck

***Field Day is a family and community event. Parents must supervise their children throughout the event.
