The Collins View Neighborhood Association invites all Riverdale families to a community presentation at Riverdale High School at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4. The presentation will introduce the Oregon Resilience Plan, an innovative 50-year plan to prepare Oregon for a Cascadia earthquake and tsunami, produced by the Oregon Seismic Policy Advisory Commission (OSPAC) with the help of 169 volunteers. You’ll hear from Jay Raskin, a local architect and OSPAC vice-chair, about what has been accomplished to date, and how Southwest Portland fits in with resilience efforts. He has over 20 years of experience working to help prepare Oregon and the Oregon Coast for a Cascadia earthquake and tsunami.
