Is your son or daughter on an IEP or 504 plan? Does he or she hope to receive accommodations in college? The process there is very different! On Thursday, March 2, from 7 to 8:30 pm, RHS will host a presentation on “College Services for Students with Disabilities and Learning Differences.” Our speaker, Dr. Deborah Barany, specializes in working with students who struggle with dyscalculia and executive functioning processes. Her practice has grown to include college admissions coaching with a particular emphasis on working with students who have learning differences and learning disabilities. Dr. Barany holds a Masters degree in Teacher Education from UCLA and completed her doctorate in Adolescent Cognitive Development at Stanford University School of Education.
