On Thursday, Jan. 12, all members of the class of 2018 will spend the day at Lewis & Clark College for the annual Junior College Day, which is the kick-off event to a Riverdale program designed to help juniors understand the college admissions process. Kathleen Reid, RHS College Counselor, will speak in all junior classes today about Junior College Day, and will pass out permission slips and lunch order forms. These forms, along with $10 for lunch, are due back on Monday, Jan. 9. Juniors should remember to bring their backpacks, pencils and paper on Thursday when they will ride the bus to Lewis & Clark (they will walk back to RHS at the end of the day).
This program continues throughout the school year with juniors learning to write a college admissions essay and how to prepare for college admissions over the summer. If you have any questions about Junior College Day or anything else college related, please contact Kathleen Reid.
